Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) is an insidious and potentially life-threatening sleep disorder, affecting 4% of men and 2% of the women ages 40 to 60. Prevalence is substantially higher among the obese and elderly. Diagnosis and treatment of this problem in the US is almost always achieved through approved sleep center based ‘attended’ polysomnagraphic studies.
