HIPAA: Vitalog Privacy Policy Regarding Protected Health Information

Vitalog's Virtual Sleep Lab (VSL) family of diagnostic and therapeutic monitoring solutions is committed to safeguarding patient's health information. Vitalog and its VSL customers recognize and acknowledge that in order to conduct its mutual business, customers will need to disclose protected health information (PHI) for individual patients. Vitalog and its VSL customers realize that the protection of this information is covered by various state and federal regulations, including HIPAA and those rules governing the Medicare and Medicaid programs.

Vitalog assures its VSL customers that it will appropriately safeguard protected health information made available to Vitalog. Vitalog will continue to
make its best efforts to comply with all applicable laws regarding the privacy of patient information. In April 2003, Vitalog entered into a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement with all active VSL customers to assist them in complying with HIPAA.
